2. Reference Letters.
We have reduced the need from two references to one, and as appropriate the admissions team can waive the requirement at the time of application assessment

The exception will be for Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB) courses where the references are required but clarity will be sought as to whether one or two are needed on a course-by-course basis..

3. English Language Requirements for PGT and MOI
English requirements are now adjusted to IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component. The exception will be for Professional Statutory Regulatory Body (PSRB) courses. For example, MSc IBM now requires 6.5 with 5.5 in each section, and all computing and engineering courses require IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each section.
There will be some flexibility for admissions teams where this is borderline and will apply to IELTS and its equivalences. This will go through formal approval in line with our English Language policy.
MOI Letters are now accepted from 12 universities. UoP will accept MOI from 2019 onwards only for the September 2024 intake. If any student applied for Jan 25 intake then MOI acceptance would be from 2020 onwards..Please keep note: graduation year will not count based on the mentioned date in the certificate. Please follow the examination year.

4. Flexible Payment Plan.
From September 2024, students can pay their tuition fees in full or in installments. Any tuition fee payments made in advance, such as the deposit, will be deducted from their tuition fees.

PAYING IN INSTALMENTS

Option A – Two installments: 50% of the tuition fee is paid during registration, and the second 50% is paid at the start of the second term

Option B – Three installments: 50% of their tuition fee during registration. The remaining 50% is to be paid in three equal installments every two months after that.
